DJ-WebP - Img to WebP free Joomla 4 and Joomla 3 plugin that helps to serve .jpg and .png formats in Google’s .webp image format.
Users can add multiple locations (paths to folders on the server) to be processed by the plugin to generate and replace the images with .webp format.There is also an option to select the format of the images that will be processed, set the quality, and stored time (how often the images will be regenerated again - sort of caching feature).
Another possibility is to exclude directories from the entered path.

How to install Joomla DJ-WebP Extension
You can install Joomla DJ-WebP Extension via Joomla Installer.
Follow the steps below:
- Download the Joomla DJ-WebP Extension package from the official website.
- Login to your Joomla website's administrator dashboard.
- Go to the "Extensions" tab and select "Manage" from the drop-down menu.
- Click on the "Upload Package File" tab and select the Joomla DJ-WebP Extension package that you downloaded.
- Click the "Upload & Install" button to install the extension.
- You will see a confirmation message when the installation is complete.
