Its purpose is to backup your Joomla! (only MySQL) database and send the backup file by e-mail. One parameter allows you to deactivate the e-mail feature; the backup files are then kept in a special folder which you can download by FTP when needed.

How to install Joomla LazyDbBackup Extension
You can install Joomla LazyDbBackup Extension via Joomla Installer.
Follow the steps below:
- Download the Joomla LazyDbBackup Extension package from the official website.
- Login to your Joomla website's administrator dashboard.
- Go to the "Extensions" tab and select "Manage" from the drop-down menu.
- Click on the "Upload Package File" tab and select the Joomla LazyDbBackup Extension package that you downloaded.
- Click the "Upload & Install" button to install the extension.
