Version 1.0.2 fixes an error in PHP versions prior to 5.5.
NEW API VERSION: MailChimp have updated their API to version 3. Please update your copy of the module!
VERIFY SSL: To protect you and your subscribers, the module checks your server's SSL certificate bundle. If your server does not have a CA bundle (Windows, for example) then you can disable "Verify SSL" in the module settings under Advanced.
If you have access to your PHP configuration, you should add your certificates. Please see this article for details.
Usage: From the Joomla! Administrator, provide your MailChimp API key, and the mailing list ID of the list you want the user to subscribe to. From the front side, the user types in his or her email address, and optionally first name and last name, and clicks the submit button. The module does an AJAX call to the subscription program, so there is no page refresh.

How to install Joomla MailChimp2 Extension
You can install Joomla MailChimp2 Extension via Joomla Installer.
Follow the steps below:
- Download the Joomla MailChimp2 Extension package from the official website.
- Login to your Joomla website's administrator dashboard.
- Go to the "Extensions" tab and select "Manage" from the drop-down menu.
- Click on the "Upload Package File" tab and select the Joomla MailChimp2 Extension package that you downloaded.
- Click the "Upload & Install" button to install the extension.
- You will see a confirmation message when the installation is complete.
