Geshi Highlighter for Joomla was removed from core plugins after release of the Joomla 3.1 version. It was a necessary plugin for the developers. As a developer myself I needed it extensively to highlight the codes. This plugin will definitely be helpful to all developers who can use this plugin to highlight the codes and it supports all the languages that is supported by Geshi.
Enable the two plugins 1. script code highlighter content plugin and 2) script code highlighter button plugin.
You will get a button below the editor to easily insert any codes in articles. For details check the documentation page.

How to install Joomla Script Code Highlighter Extension
You can install Joomla Script Code Highlighter Extension via Joomla Installer.
Follow the steps below:
- Download the Joomla Script Code Highlighter Extension package from the official website.
- Login to your Joomla website's administrator dashboard.
- Go to the "Extensions" tab and select "Manage" from the drop-down menu.
- Click on the "Upload Package File" tab and select the Joomla Script Code Highlighter Extension package that you downloaded.
