Each web site owner must provide their own easily obtainable GOOGLE Maps API Key. Please see here: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key.
Settings include the default height and width.
The map is called as follows: {tdocgmap position width=999 height=999 kml='kmlpath'}
Note the path [url] to the kml file must be enclosed in single quotes.
The following position options are available when calling the map.
- print - makes the map 100% in width and 700px in height and overrides other settings.
- left - puts the map to the left and wraps text to the right with 15px margin
- right - puts the map to the right and wraps text to the left with 15px margin
- if none of these options are used, the map is centered with no wrapping of text.
How to install Joomla TDOC Google Maps KML Display Extension
You can install Joomla TDOC Google Maps KML Display Extension via Joomla Installer.
Follow the steps below:
- Download the Joomla TDOC Google Maps KML Display Extension package from the official website.
- Login to your Joomla website's administrator dashboard.
- Go to the "Extensions" tab and select "Manage" from the drop-down menu.
- Click on the "Upload Package File" tab and select the Joomla TDOC Google Maps KML Display Extension package that you downloaded.
- Click the "Upload & Install" button to install the extension.
- You will see a confirmation message when the installation is complete.
That's it! You can now use Joomla TDOC Google Maps KML Display Extension on your Joomla website.
